Thanksgiving Food Drive Report

By December 1, 2020 News

Thank you PCTEA!!  This year’s food drive, despite being virtual, was a huge success!!

This year, with so many out of work due to the pandemic, has been extremely hard on scores of people in this area so our generous actions were really appreciated this year.

With your help and the donation from PCTEA, we were able to raise $1230.00.  We purchased dozens of turkeys and multiple carts full of non-perishable food items which we donated to the Buffalo City Mission, Compass House, Hearts Harvest Food Bank (Black Rock Food Pantry has closed down…HHFB now services that area) and Friends of Night People.  This was our largest donation ever, and it really highlighted our members’ generosity in helping those less fortunate in our community during these difficult times.
A big Thank you goes out to the PCTEA Executive Board for coordinating, collecting, shopping and delivering to those less fortunate during this Holiday Season.
